Temporary site-specific work at Salthouse Church, Norfolk.
The church stands on a hill above the north Norfolk coast, having
been moved to higher ground following flooding. It has been described
as a lighthouse. At one time boys wishing to go to sea were taught
in the church and there is a tangible reminder of this in the carved
graffiti of ships on the choir stalls. In this work outlines of
the ship graffiti and found portrait photographs are etched onto
domestic glass vessels.
